This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a diverse and exciting role! Working for a family run business in Hull, you will provide administrative support and assist various departments day-to-day.
Duties
Coordinating customs clearance, freight arrangements, and export logistics, ensuring all shipments meet customer and transport deadlines.
Attending export meetings to review incoming orders and align requirements across departments.
Liaising with the factory to confirm production readiness and on-time completion of export orders.
Communicating with customers to verify all customs documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
Booking transport for export shipments and managing the full process from collection through to final delivery.
Acting as the primary point of contact for UK-to-UK transport providers, including DHL and D&P.
Coordinating with suppliers and transport partners to arrange collection and delivery of component orders.
Scheduling and booking inbound component deliveries, working closely with factory and warehouse teams to ensure smooth receipt.
The Candidate
Prior knowledge and practical experience of customs procedures is essential.
Strong written, numerical and IT skills, with confident proficiency in Excel.
High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when working with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transport or operations would be advantageous.
