They are a local partner in finding the right tools for all their clients outdoor projects, big or small and have a wide range of top-brand machinery suitable for both personal and commercial use. Based in Lincolnshire and with their highly knowledgeable team, their commitment doesn't end with the purchase, with after sales support and a skilled workshop team to help keep the customers machinery in the best condition. They are a leading provider of innovative robotic mowing solutions, specialising in automated ground maintenance for commercial and residential clients. They are looking for a dynamic engineer/technician with a strong technical background who also has a customer focused approach to drive business growth while providing top-tier service to their customers. As an engineer for their robotic lawnmower department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting robotic mowers while also identifying and developing new sales opportunities. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service and promote our cutting-edge products THE ROLE: Installation & Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and maintain robotic mowing systems, ensuring optimal performance. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues both remotely and on-site. Customer Training: Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of robotic equipment to maximize satisfaction and efficiency. Sales Support & Business Development: Identify upselling opportunities, recommend solutions tailored to client needs, and assist in closing sales. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively seeking new business opportunities. Site Assessments & Demonstrations: Conduct site evaluations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of robotic mowing technology. Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements to enhance sales and service strategies. Health & Safety Compliance: Follow company health & safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Property Care: Ensure due care is given to customer and company property during service and installations. Training & Development: Attend training courses as required to maintain compliance and understanding of the latest products and technologies Your working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm THE CANDIDATE: A positive can-do attitude and mindset. If you're a technically skilled professional with a passion for innovation. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability and desire to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with a variety of forest & garden, domestic, and commercial machinery-ideally familiar with Husqvarna and competitive products. Strong problem-solving and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose faults. Sales or customer service experience, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities. Competent IT skills for diagnostics and reporting. Full clean driver's license (for on-site visits and installations). Ambition and drive to grow your role and responsibilities within the company. Experience with robotic lawnmowers, automation systems, or similar technologies like domestic appliances, power tools, etc. Previous experience in a sales-driven role within the landscaping, grounds maintenance, or machinery/appliance industries selling to homeowners and end users Knowledge of consumer sales.
