A well established and successful company in Hull is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to complement their established team. This part time position has varied duties including ledgers, credit control, banking, month end, cashiering and providing assistance to the Financial Controller, though this list is not exhaustive.

THE ROLE:

  • Part time hours, office based, permanent.
  • To work alongside a professional team processing ledger invoices, reconciliations, credit control, banking, month end and performing cashiering duties.
  • Assist the accounts management team with additional tasks.
  • Identify, investigate and resolve all account queries.
  • Above average IT literacy including Microsoft Word & Excel.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Must have the ability to process ledger invoices, reconciliations, credit control, banking, month end and cashiering processes.
  • Possess commercial awareness and intuition to identify and solve accounts related queries.
  • Show a willingness to assist others in the team.
  • Able to remain calm, focused and accurate whilst striving towards deadlines.
  • Confidence to liaise with internal and external contacts.
