We are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a fantastic young people-focused local charity, due to their continued success and further growth requirements, they are looking for a Partnerships Manager.
THE ROLE:
- Lead and oversee new business activity (strategic, COTY and commercial partnerships).
- Develop relationships with prospective partners.
- Manage the growth of the charity's business club.
- Develop tailored approaches and creative pitches and proposals to secure partnerships.
- Steward relationships with key decision-makers demonstrating excellent communication skills and integrity, liaising with Directors/CEOs, CSR Managers and executives to deliver partnership objectives.
- Use a relationship-led approach to build the new business pipeline.
- Manage and co-ordinate corporate events.
- Line manage staff and lead on the recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure PR and media objectives relating to all aspects of corporate and grant fundraising are met.
THE CANDIDATE:
- You will have proven experience supporting partnerships in either the charitable or corporate sector.
- You will be skilled in building successful, mutually beneficial relationships, working towards financial targets, and crafting engaging and effective communications.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a corporate partnerships role or business development role or have relevant experience/transferable skills.
- Experience of working towards and achieving ambitious financial targets and deadlines, or other non-financial targets and KPIs.
- An expert in building effective relationships with internal staff and external partners.
- Proven experience of securing new multi-year, high value partnerships.
- Demonstrable experience of negotiating, influencing and creating partnership agreements.
- Experience of leading, motivating and managing people to achieve team and organisation objectives.
- Ability to accurately forecast and manage budgets to meet charity income targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Event management experience.
- Line management and people development experience.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
