Edwards & Pearce are assisting a client who is keen to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. You will be overseeing all aspects of the UK debtors list including Sales Ledger so applicants must be time served from a busy credit control environment and possesses tenacity, assertiveness and confidence. This is a full-time permanent position and there may be opportunities to assist in other areas of accounts. THE ROLE Full time position, office based, permanent. All aspects of credit control from assessing initial risk to solving queries. To pro-actively manage the reduction of the company’s outstanding debt. Build and maintain relationships with clients throughout the credit procedure. Raise sales ledger invoices Identify and resolve potential issues with client accounts. Undertake all credit control and sales ledger admin including cash allocations. THE CANDIDATE Ideally applicants will have a history working within credit control & sales ledger. Confidence to forge / develop business relationships in order to retrieve debt. Be able to accurately maintain customer contact, payments and records. Possess credit knowledge to identify, investigate and solve account queries. Be highly accurate, tenacious, assertive and possess strong negotiating skills. Good standard of IT literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel. BENEFITS: Supportive, welcoming team.
