We are pleased to be working with a market leader in their field, who due to on-going success are looking to add to their Sales team. THE ROLE: Achieve sales targets by managing relationships with customers and pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts, thereby contributing to the sales turnover. Support to develop customer account plans for all assigned customers by identifying the relevant customer needs, prioritising initiatives and company resources to meetcustomer’s’ needs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Monitor the progress of projects, deliveries, or accounts closely with customers and contractors, resolving problems, responding to queries (technical and commercial) as well as inspecting painting progress to ensure project completion on the agreed time and to obtain optimum coating performance. Promote products, services, and solutions to owners and consultants through regular visits, product presentations, and follow-ups, and respond to inquiries to recommend and ensure the client is specified for the projects, thus creating sales opportunities for the company. Follow-up on projects within allocated geographical territories and concept markets by coordinating and monitoring closely with project personnel to ensure the clients products are used to achieve the sales budget. Monitor collections to ensure customer payment is received within an agreed term to achieve budgeted days outstanding. Liaising with the client market and responding to sales and technical inquiries, introducing new products, and monitoring projects by specifications Meets personal sales and contribution targets, focusing on stable small to moderate accounts through the practical application of the clients’ sales tools and techniques. Prepares and delivers presentations and proposals to win new business and increase sales turnover and profitability with existing customers. Assists with securing orders for larger projects in conjunction with others as appropriate. Participates in sales meetings to develop and obtain information on sales objectives, new products, technical problems, market knowledge, etc. THE CANDIDATE: Our client is seeking applications from ambitious and motivated individuals preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in a business related subject or equivalent, who wish to pursue a career in the commercial / sales field. The role is home-based, and they offer a structured training and development programme which will provide early responsibility, personal challenge and business experience. To be successful you will need to able to demonstrate: Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge strong internal and external relationships and be a team player. A passion for learning and self- development and an inquisitive nature. Good I.T skills and an understanding of key business drivers. An amount of travel is required, as is overnight stays when necessary, so flexibility is required from you.
