Would you like to work for a boutique firm of accountants in Hull? My client is seeking an AAT qualified accountant with good all round accounts preparation skills.
THE BENEFITS:
£35,000 – £40,000, free city centre parking, flexible start and leave times possible and 1 day per week hybrid working if required.
THE ROLE:
The successful applicant will work closely with the managing partner and along with a small team prepare the accounts and tax returns for a wide variety of SME limited companies and sole traders. The role requires competent use of Excel and experience of financial systems, Sage/Xero etc.
You will be liaising with your clients on a regular basis in person, on the phone and via email to form long lasting and trusted relationships, so first class interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
THE CANDIDATE:
AAT qualified, the ideal candidate will already have experience of working in an accounting practice and preparing accounts for a variety of clients. Organised and capable, you are focused with excellent attention to detail, sound systems literacy and really enjoy the client liaison side of accounting.
A confident communicator, you have the ability to relay financial information to business owners who may not have a financial background themselves. If you enjoy working with a small, friendly team and want to be a part of a thriving and growing business then this could be the role for you.
