More than just a Management Accountant! The role requires a versatile qualified/part qualified accountant with a varied skill set including both management and financial accounting for this very interesting opportunity.
THE BENEFITS: £45,000 - c£50,000, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, bonus scheme, generous pension plan, discounted private healthcare, free onsite parking, flexible start and leave times based on 37.5 hours pw, staff restaurant on site.
THE ROLE: This is a very varied role requiring a broad and versatile skill set. The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of duties and responsibilities including:
- Preparation of management information reports including capex, costs for actuals, budgets and forecasts, fixed costs etc and commentary on month end variances.
- Manage the cash flow and forecasting, income accruals, logistics costs, inventory and lease journals, monthly general ledger reconciliation.
- Support statistical and compliance reporting, assist with statutory reports and annual audit and tax reports, prepare and submit VAT returns and Intrastat data.
THE CANDIDATE: Ideally you are a fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant and preferably with previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Part qualified and qualified by experience accountants will also be considered with the relevant skills and experience. A highly organised individual with a high standard of systems literacy, you are adept at meeting deadlines. You communicate effectively at all levels and have a collaborative approach, not afraid to challenge the status quo when required and have a curious, investigative mind. Capable of working in a fast-paced culture, you are looking for your next challenge to be in a really varied role. Based in east Hull, the company has good road links to all sides of the city, Beverley and westwards towards the Humber Bridge and eastern M62.
