Our client, with an enviable reputation, is one of the biggest independent practices in the region. Due to further growth, they are looking to recruit an Accountant/Accounts Senior to the team in their Scunthorpe Office.

THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for undertaking the preparation of accounts and assisting with the provision of a comprehensive accounting and business advisory service to a portfolio of clients within a variety of industries within a knowledgeable and friendly team.

Your key duties will include:

  • The preparation and review of statutory and management accounts, as well as the associated corporation tax computations and returns
  • Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax returns
  • Supporting clients with queries
  • Assisting with on-the-job training of trainees whilst meeting work priorities
  • Monitoring the progress of work assigned to trainees, reviewing, and providing feedback

THE CANDIDATE:

You will have a solid background in practice within various industry sectors. Our client will consider those who are qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience. Part-time and hybrid working arrangements will also be considered.
