Edwards Oil, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, dependable, mechanically inclined and results driven person to make a difference for the customers we serve. Our Class A Fuel Transport Drivers are the backbone of our operation and you’ll deliver products to people who depend on our products for everyday life! Class A Transport Drivers at Edwards care about their truck & teammates, value nightly home time, can be relied upon for running a set schedule and can choose from a variety of schedules to meet their job requirements.
Class A Transport Drivers should understand basic maintenance procedures, feel comfortable with e-logging systems, and truck equipment repairs. Class A Transport Drivers must be highly ethical and ensure their equipment and logs are in compliance with State, Federal and Local law.
Candidates Should:
- Communicate well with other drivers and dispatch
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Operate computerized loading systems
- Enjoy a fast-paced work environment
- Be unafraid to take on a challenge
- Be able to multi-task and solve problems quickly and completely
- Have an ability to think on their feet
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Accurately complete daily delivery paperwork
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and walk/stand for extended periods
- Respond positively when faced with a problem
- Work in a safety conscious environment
- Be open to hauling a variety of hazardous material products, including: Ethanol, Refined Fuels, Propane & Bio Diesel.
