The mission and purpose of the Onsite Service Engineer is to provide best in class technical support to customers for semiconductor products to ensure system and product safety, uptime, and availability in support for our customers productivity to improve their satisfaction.
The Field Service Engineer accomplishes this mission by performing complex customer support activities including but not limited to installation, modification, repair and preventive maintenance tasks of Edwards Vacuum- and Abatement equipment and systems to ensure proper working order.
What you will do :
- Independently conduct key operational activities, such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Edwards products.
- Where required, select, accurately maintain, and appropriately use Edwards Product and Field Service Operational information.
- Undertake software setup, operation, maintenance, and basic analytics. Conduct basic fault-finding and troubleshooting support
- Work alongside teammates
- You will be expected to learn and develop your knowledge and skills as a Field service engineer.
- Provides detailed and accurate feedback on field service activities and compiles clear and concise reports for submission
- As part of your role, you will be expected to set up, operate, and maintain software products and monitoring platforms on Edwards equipment.
