We are looking for an experienced and professional Senior Service Advisor to join the team at Edwards Motors, a long-established, family-owned dealership. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £27,000 – £32,000 per year.
The Role
As a Senior Service Advisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service department, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for every customer. You will be responsible for managing customer interactions, coordinating workshop activity, and maintaining high standards of communication throughout the service process. You will also support the wider team and deputise for the Service Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking vehicles onto site and managing bookings
- Allocating and checking loan vehicles in and out
- Entering and managing jobs on the dealer management system
- Monitoring the progress of all work in the workshop
- Liaising with customers throughout the repair and service process
- Providing clear and accurate descriptions of work completed
- Supporting the Service Manager and deputising in their absence
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:00am – 3:00pm
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Previous experience working within a main dealer environment
- At least 1 year experience as a Service Advisor
You will also be:
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Professional and confident when dealing with customers
- A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive, and a team player
