How you’ll make an impact:
- Oversee certification of centers, physicians, related staff, and Edwards personnel in accordance with Edwards Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors to support high‑quality training and clinical practice.
- Provide on‑site technical guidance and follow‑up support during commercial procedures to ensure continuity of education, consistent practice, proper device use, and optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and clinical staff on technical aspects of investigational products and procedures - including device handling, implantation techniques, and troubleshooting - through one‑on‑one ad hoc sessions and structured in‑service programs.
- Develop and maintain training curricula, materials, and tools based on clinical trial and field experience, Edwards guidelines, and SOPs.
- Train and mentor new Field Clinical Specialists to ensure consistent standards of clinical support.
- Partner with Sales and Sales Management to plan and execute growth strategies in prioritized accounts and support upselling initiatives in key strategic accounts.
- Validate implementation of software and hardware updates in the field.
- Monitor clinical activities, account performance, market developments, and competitive dynamics in coordination with the NSM and Sales Specialists.
What you’ll need (Required):
- Minimum 5 years of relevant medical device and/or clinical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
- Experience delivering training in clinical or technical environments (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and the ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, pathology, and broader cardiovascular science.
- Understanding of medical device regulatory requirements, documentation standards, device accountability, and adverse event reporting.
- Experience engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders on cross‑functional matters (preferred).
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
