Are you a Conveyancing Paralegal / Secretary seeking an opportunity to develop your property experience with a specialist property practice? Our client is seeking a number of property Paralegals / Legal Secretaries to join the busy Conveyancing team of 10 staff based in Maidstone.
You will be working as part of a team assisting fee earners with a busy/high volume caseload of residential freehold/leasehold sales/purchases and re-mortgages acting primarily for panel lenders. Any additional experience with Commercial Property work would be an added bonus.
You will be assisting with property transactions from initial instruction through to completion which includes:
- Liaising with vendors/solicitors/mortgage lenders/brokers/estate agents and local authorities
- Preparing letters and reports
- Carrying out general administration duties including typing, filing, Searches, preparing completion statements, SDLT forms, and requisitions from the Land Registry Office
Candidates must have previous experience in property work, be IT literate, have experience working with Case Management systems and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Salary dependent on experience plus bonus.
