Working with our experienced consultants, you will undertake individual projects such as assisting with professional supplier list responses, ad pitches, and legal salary surveys. You will also conduct research into law firms and company legal departments, and the legal market in general for use in our comprehensive and regular market updates, compile statistics, and oversee the production of content onto our website or external legal electronic or print media.
In addition, you will assist with the input of CVs and undertake other office administration matters, which will include:
- Scheduling meetings
- Drafting business documents
- Interfacing between our IT systems/database and consultants
- Being a point of contact with external service providers
We are looking for a self-starter with a bright personality, tact, and the ability to work hard, a 2:1 degree, and who will be willing to commit for a minimum of 6 months. You are promised an upbeat, fun, and energised office environment with the support of an excellent team of ex-lawyers. You will be working alongside another team assistant.
Over the last few years, this support post has been filled by Law graduates and GDL or SQE finishers taking a break to gain more commercial and office experience before commencing training contracts. We have benefited from their commitment and ideas and they have benefited from a helpful introduction to the business of law and the wider legal sector before setting off on training contracts or other roles in law.
