Not all US firms are the same. This pure blood US law firm has experienced exponential and sustained growth over the past 5 years and even stronger growth in London; launching new practice areas and building out existing teams. From a recruitment perspective it is quite a story and from a client perspective this firm now offers a strong balanced law firm in London with associate bench-strength and flexible rates. There are almost 50 offices globally.

Banking and finance is an engine room practice area and a strategic priority. The firm is looking to mirror the finance dominated offices, complement the key sectors and London is at the centre of that growth. The London office has increased the finance practice by 7 lateral partners over the last five years.

There is a strong thread of asset finance practitioners through the global network. There are already a number of lawyers across the network working with private equity investors, infrastructure funds, investment banks and alternative investors in the real asset sector (including transportation). There is a small asset finance team in London which works closely with colleagues across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US. The team is supported by the US based lawyers; capital markets, PE, restructuring and (leading) tax practices in London; associate leverage; and flexible rates. The team works closely with real asset clients and energy clients.

The firm is looking to hire at least one more asset finance partner and would welcome a team of lawyers. Clients and English law deals are generated across the vast network, but a personal business case is required.
