Our client is a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, looking to add an additional member to their team as a Yard Worker / Telehandler Operative. This is a temporary role leading into a permanent position after 12 weeks, and it will be site-based. Candidates from Doncaster would be ideal.
The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading vehicles with plastic pipes and pallets, as well as maintaining the yard's appearance. The ideal candidate will have Telehandler experience and a valid in-date counterbalance license. You must be able to drive and have access to a car, as the site is not accessible via public transport.
In return for your commitment, you can expect:
- GBP 12.60 - GBP 13.50 per hour, DOE
- 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday to Friday

Responsibilities of the Yard Worker / Telehandler Operative:
- Serve as the point of contact for loading and unloading deliveries.
- Facilitate the movement, loading, and unloading of vehicles and manage the storage of all products.
- Perform daily picking, packing, and dispatch of products.
- Liaise with colleagues regarding workload requirements daily.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators, drivers, the stock controller, and workshop team to execute tasks in the yard and workshop areas.
Minimum Requirements for the Role:
- Telehandler experience
- Counterbalance license
- UK Driver's license
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team
