Salary & Benefits Package Salary: £24,186.24 per annum (based on a 38-hour week) Flexible working hours available Day shifts only Monday to Friday working pattern 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays Christmas shutdown Free uniform provided Free on-site parking The Role – Sewing Machinist As a Sewing Machinist, you will play a key role within the production team, ensuring products are manufactured to a high standard and within set timescales. Your responsibilities will include: Operating industrial lockstitch and overlock sewing machines Manufacturing a wide range of fabric-based products Working with various types of fabrics in a fast-paced environment Carrying out basic preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of sewing machines Organising and preparing materials for production Packaging and labelling finished goods accurately Supporting the team with additional tasks as reasonably requested by the Line Manager The Ideal Candidate To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience using industrial lockstitch and overlock sewing machines Experience working in a fast-paced sewing or manufacturing environment A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work The ability to work well as part of a team This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sewing Machinist looking for secure, long-term employment with a company that values skill, reliability, and teamwork.
