We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bandsaw Operative to join a well-established company in Staveley on a permanent night shift. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience operating bandsaw machinery within a warehouse or manufacturing environment, who is reliable, proactive, and looking for long-term stable work.
The Role
- Operating industrial bandsaw machinery safely and efficiently
- Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately to specification
- Loading and handling materials using forklift trucks where required
- Quality checking finished cuts to ensure accuracy and standards are met
- Supporting general production and warehouse operations
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience operating bandsaw machinery (essential)
- FLT licence preferred (refresher training can be provided if needed)
