We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bandsaw Operative to join a busy and growing company based in Staveley. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong manufacturing experience who is looking for a stable, long-term day shift role with training and development opportunities available.
The Role
- Operating industrial bandsaw machinery safely and efficiently
- Measuring, marking, and cutting materials to precise specifications
- Loading and unloading materials using forklift trucks where required
- General warehouse and production duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Supporting the wider production team where required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience operating bandsaw machinery (preferred)
- Strong FLT experience advantageous
- Valid FLT licence preferred, refresher training can be provided
- Experience within manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments
- Reliable, proactive, and hardworking attitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
