Our client is a leading commercial vehicle builders, looking to add an additional member to there team as a MIG Welder / Vehicle Builder
This is a temporary role leading into a permanent position after 12 weeks that will be site based. Sheffield based candidates would be ideal.
The right candidate will have MIG welding experience as well as being competent with all welding equipment. Having a background in vehicle building is essential. If you hold a UK Drivers license or even a HGV license this a is a plus!
Details – MIG Welder/Vehicle Builder
In return for your commitment, you can expect:
£12.50p/h – £16p/h DOE
7:30AM – 4PM
Monday-Friday
Paid breaks
Overtime is available in the week and at weekends but not a must
20 Days Holiday, plus Bank Holidays
Training and professional development
As a MIG Welder / Vehicle Builder, you will….
Manufacture and Assemble bespoke bodywork including tippers, plants and tPEUs
Read and interpret technical drawings & specifications
Competently carry out MIG welding and fit various vehicle body components
Use a variety of Welding equipment as well as hand tools & power tools
Work closely with a production team to meet deadlines and customer requirements
To be successful in this role for MIG Welder / Vehicle Builder you MUST have:
MIG Welding experience
Vehicle body building experience
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
A strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
