This is a hands-on, varied Machine Operator position where you’ll be involved in the full manufacturing process from raw materials to finished product. If you like seeing the end result of your work and taking pride in what you produce, this one’s got your name on it.
The Business
Our client is a long-established, Chesterfield-based manufacturer specialising in security and access solutions. They design, manufacture and assemble high-quality products used in homes, commercial buildings and public sector environments such as schools and hospitals. The Role
Based on-site in the machine shop, you’ll join a small but highly skilled team and receive full training as you learn how products are manufactured from start to finish. Your day-to-day will include:
- Working with wood and metal, using hand tools and CNC machine tools
- Manufacturing parts in line with specifications
- Learning assembly processes to create finished products ready for customers
- Supporting the wider production team to maintain quality and efficiency
No two days look the same – this is a varied, engaging role where you’re involved in more than just one stage of production.
