I’m currently working with a vibrant business located in central Chesterfield. They are looking for a Receptionist to join their supportive and positive team. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you’ll represent the business with a smart, professional presence and ensure our reception runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties - answering and directing calls politely and efficiently
  • Visitor management - greeting guests and maintaining access control
  • Message handling - recording and forwarding clear, accurate messages
  • Email enquiries - ensuring all enquiries and new business leads are followed up
  • Meeting coordination - booking rooms and arranging catering
  • Reception upkeep - keeping reception and meeting rooms tidy
  • Post & courier management - sorting incoming/outgoing mail
  • Stock control - ordering stationery, cartridges, provisions and more
  • General admin - supporting ad-hoc projects and administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar reception or front-of-house role
  • A working knowledge of MS Office software
  • A professional approach including excellent communication skills
  • A confident team player
  • Strong focus and attention to detail
