Edwards Employment Solutions are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (Picking & Despatch) to work with one of our Chesterfield-based clients. We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse team. This role will focus on picking customer orders, preparing goods for despatch and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse operation.

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, good attention to detail and a positive, team-focused attitude. HME certification is desirable but not essential.

Details:

  • £13.45 per hour
  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00AM – 5:30PM
  • Friday: 9:00AM – 4:00PM
  • Onsite Parking
  • Immediate Start Available

Duties Include:

  • Picking customer orders accurately
  • Packing products ready for despatch
  • Labelling and preparing shipments
  • Assisting with goods in and stock replenishment
  • Carrying out quality checks on orders
  • Maintaining accurate warehouse records
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
  • Working as part of a team to achieve daily targets

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Picking and packing experience preferred
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable and trustworthy attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • HME certification desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures
