Edwards Employment Solutions are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (Picking & Despatch) to work with one of our Chesterfield-based clients. We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse team. This role will focus on picking customer orders, preparing goods for despatch and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse operation.
The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, good attention to detail and a positive, team-focused attitude. HME certification is desirable but not essential.
Details:
- £13.45 per hour
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00AM – 5:30PM
- Friday: 9:00AM – 4:00PM
- Onsite Parking
- Immediate Start Available
Duties Include:
- Picking customer orders accurately
- Packing products ready for despatch
- Labelling and preparing shipments
- Assisting with goods in and stock replenishment
- Carrying out quality checks on orders
- Maintaining accurate warehouse records
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily targets
What We're Looking For:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Picking and packing experience preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and trustworthy attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- HME certification desirable but not essential
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
