We are currently recruiting for a Back of House Manager to join the Leadership Team at The Edwardian Manchester Hotel.

Overview:
  • Oversee all back of house areas including loading bays, storage rooms, staff corridors, BOH facilities, and operational spaces.
  • Manage stock movement, waste management, and BOH logistics to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards across all BOH areas.
  • Lead and support BOH team members, ensuring strong communication and smooth coordination with all hotel departments.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, and Front of House to support operational needs.
  • Ensure all BOH processes meet health & safety, fire safety, and brand standards.
  • Monitor equipment, storage systems, and BOH infrastructure, reporting issues promptly.
  • Drive continuous improvement in BOH operations, workflows, and service support.
About You:
  • Experience in hotel operations, facilities, logistics, or back of house management.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive leader who can motivate teams and build strong interdepartmental relationships.
  • Calm, solutions focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health & safety, manual handling, and BOH compliance standards.
  • A hands on, positive approach with a commitment to maintaining 5 star operational excellence.
