We are currently expanding our Groups and Events Team and are recruiting for an Events & Groups Planning Executive for the iconic May Fair Hotel.
Responsibilities
- The role of Groups and Events Planning Executive involves managing and delivering the final details for our client’s events at The May Fair Hotel.
- You will be responsible for maintaining effective and appropriate liaison with our clients throughout the planning process, coordinating planning site inspections and menu tastings where appropriate.
- As the Groups and Events Planning Executive you will assist with meeting and greeting all key clients upon arrival for their event.
- You will attend weekly events meetings with the F&B and Operations teams regarding events for the week ahead.
About You
- Good knowledge of Groups and Events Planning within a multi-million-pound meetings and events revenue generating 4 or 5 Star hotel operation.
- Proven organizational skills, works well on their own.
- Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
- Proficient in IT applications including Opera, Delphi, and Salesforce.
- Excellent Sales and Negotiation skills.
- Confident and have the ability to establish rapport effectively.
- Good command of English Language both verbally and written.
