  • Overview
  • Chief F & B Steward will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the back of house operation alongside the back of house manager.
  • You will manage all cutlery and crockery stock takes, highlighting any concerns to departments. You will ensure that all goods received are thoroughly checked.
  • The role will assist the training, coaching and development of the food and beverage stewards ensuring feedback to measure training effectiveness.
  • Identification of training needs and requirements in F & B back of house.
  • Compilation of health and safety audits in Excel document alongside the back of house manager.

About You

  • Current back of house supervisory experience in a similar hotel or environment.
  • Demonstrates ability to proactively prioritize business needs, drive and support the back of house operations teams.
  • Displays a working knowledge of the hotel in order to assist internal & external clients.
  • To be up to date with current health and safety procedures in food and beverage.
  • To have health and safety qualifications at a minimum CIEH Level Two.
