Edwardian Hotels London is looking for an experienced Group Commercial Heating & Plant Engineer to join our Engineering team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the commercial heating, hot water, and plant systems across our prestigious portfolio of luxury hotels and commercial properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking a stable, long-term role within a single organisation, working across high-quality sites with the support of an established engineering team.

The Role

As a Group Commercial Heating & Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and cost-effective maintenance, installation, and repair services for a wide range of commercial heating and plant equipment throughout the Edwardian Hotels London estate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, repairing, and installing commercial gas, oil, and solid‑fuel heating systems.
  • Carrying out plumbing and mechanical services works as required.
  • Supporting the Group Property Manager in delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Maintaining commercial heating, hot water, and plant systems to the highest standards.
  • Liaising closely with Design Teams, Project Managers, and Senior Management Teams.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering standards across the group.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a qualified and motivated engineer with experience in commercial mechanical services and heating systems.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Current ACS Qualifications.
  • Commercial Gas Safe Registered Engineer.
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications.
  • Domestic Gas Qualifications.
  • Industrial Gas Qualifications.
  • LPG Gas Qualifications.
  • COMCAT 1, 3 & 5 qualifications.
  • Proven experience with Commercial Heating and Hot Water Systems.
  • Plumbing and pipework experience including: Copper pipework, Steel pipework, Pipe threading, Mechanical pressing systems.
