Overview
- Chief F & B Steward will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the back of house operation alongside the back of house manager.
- You will manage all cutlery and crockery stock takes, highlighting any concerns to departments. You will ensure that all goods received are thoroughly checked.
- The role will assist the training, coaching and development of the food and beverage stewards ensuring feedback to measure training effectiveness.
- Identification of training needs and requirements in F & B back of house.
- Compilation of health and safety audits in Excel document alongside the back of house manager.
About You
- Current back of house supervisory experience in a similar hotel or environment.
- Demonstrates ability to proactively prioritize business needs, drive and support the back of house operations teams.
- Displays a working knowledge of the hotel in order to assist internal & external clients.
- To be up to date with current health and safety procedures in food and beverage.
- To have health and safety qualifications at a minimum CIEH Level Two.
