We are currently expanding our Groups and Events Team and are recruiting for an Events & Groups Planning Executive for the iconic May Fair Hotel.

The role of Groups and Events Planning Executive involves managing and delivering the final details for our client’s events at The May Fair Hotel. You will be responsible for maintaining effective and appropriate liaison with our clients throughout the planning process, coordinating planning site inspections and menu tastings where appropriate. As the Groups and Events Planning Executive you will assist with meeting and greeting all key clients upon arrival for their event. You will attend weekly events meetings with the F&B and Operations teams regarding events for the week ahead.

About You:

  • Good knowledge of Groups and Events Planning within a multi-million-pound meetings and events revenue generating 4 or 5 Star hotel operation.
  • Proven organisational skills, works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
  • Proficient in IT applications including Opera, Delphi, and Salesforce.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Confident and have the ability to establish rapport effectively.
  • Good command of English language both verbally and written.
