We’re recruiting for a Management Accountant position on behalf of a FMCG business based in Uxbridge (Hybrid - 2 days in, 3 days WFH). Reporting directly to the Finance Director, with a dotted line into the Finance Manager, this role is pivotal in delivering timely and accurate management accounts to support decision-making across the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the preparation and delivery of the monthly management accounts within timely deadlines, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, loan accounts, and fixed assets.
- Producing insightful reporting packs with analysis and commentary on performance, risks and opportunities.
- Support the annual and quarterly budgeting processes.
- Support the year end procedure including assisting with audits.
- Promote a continuous improvement approach to business policy & processes.
- Assisting the Finance Manager with other ad-hoc duties, as and when required.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Experience in a similar level management accounting position.
- Part-qualified or finalist (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- FMCG or Retail experience is desirable, but not essential.
