We are currently recruiting for a Residential Conveyancer (Team Lead) for our client in Lincoln. (This position is ideally office based in Lincoln, but can accommodate hybrid options if needed) Salary in the region of £50,000-£60,000pa (depending on experience) The client offers a supportive team to help create a positive working environment. The Role (but not limited to): We are looking for outstanding residential conveyancers (Team Lead) for our client’s team in Lincoln. • Communicating with clients on a daily basis, dealing with matters over the phone, email or in person • Updating branches/ building relationships with our referrers • Updating/ maintaining a case management system • All aspects of residential conveyancing including leasehold and freehold • Liaising with other parties’ solicitors, brokers and estate agents • Managing property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, New build and Shared ownership transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity from inception until post completion • Updating clients on progress of matter • Chasing outstanding enquiries • Checking mortgage offers and searches • Title checking and reporting to clients • Raising and signing off the enquiries • Maintaining and checking Due Diligence and Risk Assessments in line with the firms’ policies • Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and data protection regulations. • Exchanging contracts and completing the transaction • Dealing with requisitions • Mentoring and training colleagues • Leadership/management tasks Required Knowledge and Experience • Experience as a residential conveyancer managing files end to end • Proactive, solutions focused approach with strong organizational skills • Strong communication skills, confident with clients, colleagues and stakeholders • Collaborative mindset with a genuine desire to share knowledge and best practice • Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues or a keen interest in developing others • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment • Attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving setting Benefits • Competitive salary with annual review and performance-based bonus • 25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays • Death in Service Benefit • Employer contribution to your workplace pension • Eye test vouchers/ Enhanced Maternity/ Paternity pay/ Company sick pay/ Wellbeing initiatives For more information please apply asap
