IT Business Analyst Finance

Edward Mann are recruiting on behalf of a high growth business in the Staffordshire area. Our client is recruiting for a Business and Finance Systems Analyst to join their team.
This position will optimise the 4 different systems they use as a business, looking at ways they can \’speak to each other’ and develop efficiency drivers that will improve operational performance.

Responsibilities include:

Create a process map for all different key MI systems – CRM, Operations Management system, Finance and Purchasing system, and Project Management system
Work with Management team to identify business needs and recommend solutions
Identify process weaknesses and devise data driven solutions to improve
Improve efficiency of output of Key Business reports
Bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions
Work independently and as a team with Finance Reporting Analyst and IT team to improve reporting outputs
Covering for Finance Reporting Analyst during holidays and absence

We’re looking for a candidate who has:

Experienced in process mapping, project support and process improvementProgramming skillset (Python or SQL, MACRO language (Visual Basics)
Advanced excel and Access systems skills, covering macros
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ideally some exposure to, or understanding of, accounting, to understand relevant inputs/outputs desired
