Edward Mann are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant position on behalf of a growing SME operating in the Property sector, based in Central London. This position will support the CFO with the production of month-end reporting, general bookkeeping, and transactional responsibilities. This position will be based in the Central London office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting month-end close processes
- Handling accruals and prepayments
- Preparing and processing bank reconciliations
- Full ownership of transactional accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Processing credit card transactions and reconciliations
- Assisting with payroll journals and related entries
- Processing deferred revenue and revenue recognition
- Payroll processing
- HMRC compliance
- Weekly Cashflow forecasting
- Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects and reporting
Candidate requirements:
- Experience in supporting the production of month-end management accounts - essential
- Experienced in journal postings and confident with double entry knowledge - essential
- Part-qualified (or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification)
- Desirable, but not essential: SME experience
