Looking for an all-round Management Accountant role where you can take ownership and make an impact? This growing law firm in Edinburgh is looking for someone to keep the finance function running smoothly from management accounts to managing staff. Sitting at the core of the finance team, you'll be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, keeping things ticking over day-to-day, and supporting the firm's financial decision-making. The statutory accounts are outsourced, so this role is all about internal reporting, working closely with senior stakeholders, and ensuring smooth processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Overseeing junior finance staff and reviewing their work
- Managing cash flow, reconciliations, and month-end processes
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Supporting process improvements and ensuring financial controls are in place
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified, part-qualified or QBE accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ICAS)
- Experience in management accounts and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review junior staff's work
- LLP, Legal sector or professional services experience is a plus but not essential
