Position Highlights:
- Location: Edward, IL
- Full time - 36 hours
- Hours: Nights 7pm – 7:30am rotating weekends and holidays
- Required Travel: yes as needed to mother baby and Peds
What you will do:
Unit Support answering telephone calls, ordering supplies, and sets up room appropriate for admission according to patient’s needs. Also performs tasks related to receiving, preparing and delivering infant feedings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association required
- Certificate from an accredited nursing assistant training course (CNA); or minimum six months previous patient care experience or equivalent; or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
NICU Specific:
- Current Food Handler Course Certificate of Completion
- Previous experience in a Milk Tech role or a Registered Dietary Tech role
- Attends patient care skills tasks related to preparing and delivering infant feedings
- Strong math skills for preparing and delivering infant feedings
