We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching KS3-KS4 and GCSE English, a degree in English, and experience in online group tutoring. We are looking for someone who can cover both English language and literature.

This role is perfect for someone who loves teaching, is creative in their approach, and is comfortable using digital platforms to engage with students. In addition to teaching, you will be responsible for creating homework assignments and developing educational content for our social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Online Tutoring: Deliver high-quality online group tutoring sessions for KS3 and GCSE English students (Year 9 to Year 11). Adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students grasp complex literary and linguistic concepts.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging homework assignments, practice questions, and revision materials aligned with the GCSE English curriculum.
  • Social Media Engagement: Create and share educational content across our social media platforms — including short videos, infographics, and posts that simplify English concepts for a broader audience.
  • Student Support: Offer guidance and support to students, answering their questions and providing additional resources to help them succeed.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to produce creative campaigns for advertising.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Degree in English, with strong grades at both A level and university.
  • 1+ year of teaching experience, preferably including online classes.
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum.
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging educational content for social media.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
