Are you the kind of person who can make a child feel safe, understood and confident enough to succeed? We are looking for caring, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join primary schools this September. These are long‑term, full‑time positions, offering the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with pupils and become a valued member of the school community.
Working with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a range of learning difficulties, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom.
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience working with children or young people
- An understanding of SEND, ASD and learning difficulties
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
The role:
- Full‑time position, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Long‑term placement with the potential for permanent opportunities
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
- Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment
