Edvance Education is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Slough. We are looking for a passionate, caring and reliable SEND teaching assistant who wants to support children with special educational needs in a rewarding school environment.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEND), including:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
  • ADHD
  • Speech and Language Needs
  • Moderate & Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)

The role of a SEND Teaching Assistant includes:

  • 1:1 SEND support
  • Small group intervention
  • Classroom-based SEN support
  • Support in specialist SEND settings

Requirements:

  • Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role
  • Experience working with children with SEND, Autism, SEMH, or additional needs
  • A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
  • Right to work in the UK

All SEND Teaching Assistant applicants will be required to complete:

  • An Enhanced DBS check (including barred list where applicable)
  • Two professional references
  • Right to Work checks
