Are you a passionate and caring Classroom Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity? Edvance Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Classroom Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school from June 2026, continuing long term through the full academic year until July 2027.

This Classroom Teaching Assistant role is class-based and involves supporting children with SEND needs including verbal and non-verbal ASD, ADHD and global delay. The school is looking for a nurturing, proactive and reliable Classroom Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships and support children both academically and emotionally throughout the school day.

  • Mainstream Primary School
  • Start Date: June 2026
  • Long-term role continuing until: July 2027
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm
  • Pay: £95 – £105 per day
  • Full Time: 5 Days Per Week

The successful Classroom Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to support pupils within the classroom environment. This Classroom Teaching Assistant opportunity would suit candidates with previous school, nursery, care or personal SEND experience.
