We are looking for a passionate, caring and reliable classroom teaching assistant who wants to support children with special educational needs in a rewarding school environment. Classroom Teaching Assistant – The Role As a Classroom Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEND), including: * Autism (ASC) * SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) * ADHD * Speech and Language Needs The role of a Classroom Teaching Assistant includes: * 1:1 SEND support * Small group intervention * Classroom-based SEN support Safeguarding & Compliance All SEND Teaching Assistant applicants will be required to complete: * An Enhanced DBS check (including barred list where applicable) * Two professional references * Right to Work checks Edvance Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
