Google Data Science PhD Internship 2027 offers PhD students in the EMEA region the opportunity to work on data analysis, experimentation and quantitative research within Google.
Internships are available in London, Warsaw and Zürich for a minimum of 13 weeks during Summer 2027.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must currently be enrolled in a PhD programme. The PhD programme should be located in the EMEA region. Relevant fields include Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Mathematics and Operations Research.
Related technical fields involving experimental design and quantitative analysis may also be considered. The minimum qualifications refer to applicants in their penultimate year of PhD study. Applicants must have experience working with datasets.
Applicants should have experience using Python, R, SAS, MATLAB or other statistical software. Applicants must have experience with statistical data‑analysis methods. Relevant methods may include linear models, hypothesis testing, multi‑level models and Bayesian methods.
Applicants must be available full‑time for at least 13 weeks during Summer 2027. Applicants must be located in the country of their selected internship during the programme. English proficiency is required unless otherwise stated.
Preferred qualifications include: Experience with causal inference methods. Experience producing research outputs such as peer‑reviewed publications. Ability to begin the internship between May and July 2027.
