Are you an experienced, passionate and innovative educator with a genuine enthusiasm for enhancing teaching and learning through both Computing and the use of Educational Technology? As we rapidly extend our professional learning opportunities for schools in West and South Yorkshire, we are actively seeking to once again expand our team. This expansion solidifies our commitment to assisting schools in the effective use of Computing, cross-curricular Educational Technology, and Online Safety. If you are an individual who has demonstrated leadership in Computing and/or IT within an educational setting, possesses a comprehensive understanding of the advantages in the integrated use of technology for teaching and learning, and values the improvement of work-life balance, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Computing/EdTech and/or STEM workshops for school pupils.
- Contribute to the generation and delivery of our ongoing webinar CPD offer for staff within the schools we support.
- Communicate and engage with students, teachers, and parents to keep them informed about digital technology updates and opportunities.
- Conduct training and development sessions for school staff members at all levels within our supported schools.
- Lead or co‑lead public-facing events, such as those for Computing & IT Subject Leaders, Senior Leaders, and Governors.
- Actively research and explore ways of enhancing teaching and learning through technology.
- Collaborate closely across the education team to integrate technology adoption into supported schools.
- Offer consultancy and strategic guidance to schools on implementing educational technology and cloud computing, tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
- Support in the running of technology-focused holiday provision.
