Early Years Practitioner – 0–3 Years

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join a nurturing and child-focused nursery environment, working primarily with children aged 0–3 years.

The setting provides a warm, nature-rich environment where curiosity, comfort and care go hand in hand.

You will play an important role in supporting young children to feel safe, secure and ready to explore the world around them.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, your responsibilities will include

  • Acting as a key person for a small group of children and building strong relationships with them and their families.
  • Creating a calm, nurturing environment indoors while making full use of dedicated outdoor spaces, gardens and outdoor learning areas.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and visiting specialists to provide a varied and engaging nursery experience.
  • Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development while laying the foundations for their early learning.
  • Providing high-quality care and support for babies and toddlers in line with early years best practice.

About You

We are looking for someone who

  • Holds a Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Has experience caring for children aged 0–3 years and a genuine passion for working with babies and toddlers.
  • Is warm, patient and positive, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Brings energy, flexibility and enthusiasm to their role every day.
  • Salary & Benefits
  • Β£27,248 for Level 3 practitioners.
  • Full-time, 4 days per week, all year round.
  • 6 weeks annual leave.
