EduTalent Group is delighted to be partnering with a new primary school provision in Margate to recruit a proactive and organised School Administrator / Admin Assistant. This is an immediate start role offering the chance to help shape and support a new developing school environment. You will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school working closely with leadership teaching staff and parents. The role requires experience within a school environment, an understanding of additional needs and proficiency with school systems such as BROMCOM, SIMS or ARBOR.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily administrative tasks to support staff and pupils
- Maintaining accurate student records and school databases (BROMCOM, SIMS, ARBOR)
- Supporting communication with parents, carers and external agencies
- Assisting with timetabling, reports and attendance monitoring
- Providing administrative support for SEN processes and additional needs provision
- Organising school documentation, letters and forms
- Contributing to the smooth running of the school office and wider school operations
- Supporting the development of administrative systems in a new school setting
Essential Requirements
- Experience working within a school environment
- Understanding of SEN and additional needs
- Proficiency in school systems such as BROMCOM, SIMS or ARBOR
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Immediate availability
