EduTalent Group are seeking an inspiring and experienced Head of Music to lead and develop a thriving music programme within a specialist independent school environment. This part time leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of Music across the school while delivering engaging classroom teaching and overseeing a vibrant programme of performances and extracurricular activities.
The successful candidate will lead curriculum development, coordinate visiting instrumental and vocal teachers, direct ensembles, and organise a range of musical events throughout the academic year. They will play a key role in ensuring Music remains a central and valued part of school life, inspiring students of all abilities to participate, perform and develop their musical talents.
Working within a specialist educational setting, the Head of Music will be committed to adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of students with dyslexia and co-occurring specific learning difficulties, ensuring every learner can access and enjoy the curriculum.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
