EduTalent Group are recruiting for a welcoming and inclusive SEND school in Medway that is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team from April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEND Teacher to work within a specialist environment supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring they are able to access a tailored and engaging curriculum.

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEND
  • Create a structured, supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Adapt learning to meet individual Education, Health and Care Plan targets
  • Use a range of strategies to support communication, engagement and progress
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and wider SEN professionals
  • Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, adjusting teaching accordingly
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience working as a SEND Teacher is essential

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
