About the Role
EduTalent Group is hiring for an EYFS/KS1/KS2 Complex Needs Teacher to join a school in Medway. This role is ideal for an experienced primary teacher with a passion for supporting students with complex SEND needs. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons, contribute to curriculum development, and support students’ individual learning objectives, including those with ASD and other complex needs. You will also work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure consistent, high-quality provision across the primary department.
Requirements
- Qualified Primary Teacher with a degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience teaching EYFS/KS1/KS2, preferably with a SEND or ASD specialism
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Experience working with non-verbal children and complex ASD needs
- Knowledge of alternative communication methods, sensory processing, and behaviour as a learning need
- Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
- Experience leading or directing teaching assistants is desirable
- Passionate, resourceful, resilient, and committed to student progress
- Minibus driving experience is desirable
