EduTalent are supporting a lovely school in Bexhill who are looking for a KS2 Teacher to start after half term until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time position supporting a Year 3 class.
Job Description
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Take full teaching responsibility for a Year 3 class, including planning, preparation and assessment.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and motivated.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Maintain strong behaviour management strategies to promote a focused learning environment.
- Contribute to wider school life where appropriate.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Experience teaching or supporting learning in Lower KS2 / Year 3 is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive, flexible and positive approach to teaching.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
