Edusport Academy is a prestigious residential sports academy based in Glasgow, Scotland, specializing in providing international students aged 17-23 with a transformative 9-month program combining elite sports training with world-class education. Since 2011, we\’ve transformed the lives of over 500 athletes from around the globe through our proven residential programme. Edusport Academy will merge with Caledonian Braves Academy for the upcoming season.

Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Head Coach to lead our international sports academy and drive the development of young athletes in a multicultural, residential environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of global talent while working in Scotland\’s vibrant sporting landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate daily training programs for international students across multiple sports disciplines
• Develop and implement comprehensive coaching strategies aligned with our holistic development philosophy
• Manage and mentor a team of qualified coaches
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Collaborate with education partners to ensure seamless integration of academic and athletic programs
• Oversee student welfare and personal development in residential setting
• Maintain relationships with partner clubs and facilitate student placements
• Support recruitment and marketing initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Scottish FA standards and academy accreditations
• UEFA coaching qualification (A or B licence minimum, Pro licence preferred)
• Minimum 5 years coaching experience with young adult athletes (17-23 age group)
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
• Experience in residential or academy environments
• Commitment to holistic player development beyond just athletic performance
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, international environment
• Multilingual capabilities (French language skills highly valued)
• Experience with international student programs
• Background in sports education or dual-career athlete development
• Knowledge of UK visa and education systems
• Previous academy or professional club experience
